1. What we stand for
haps is a place for logging the time you spend together and, when you want, saying hello to nearby groups. For everyone to use it with peace of mind, a few basic commitments are needed. These Guidelines apply to all content, profiles, groups, knocks, chats, and notes on haps.
2. Prohibited conduct
- Offering or arranging prostitution, sexual exploitation, or harmful solicitation: subject to immediate permanent suspension.
- Posting or sharing non-consensual recordings: subject to immediate suspension and reported to the relevant authorities.
- Violations involving minors: handled under the Child Safety Standards Policy.
- Harassment, sexual harassment, bullying, threats
- Abusive language, hate speech, discriminatory behavior
- Impersonating others, misappropriating accounts or information, fraud, demanding money
- Spam, repeated advertising, external links, luring users to other services
- Group not as described: creating or operating a group for a purpose different from its introduction (including solicitation for commercial, religious, or similar purposes, and recruiting or luring for the purpose of romantic or dating encounters)
- Infringing the rights of others (posting photos of someone against their wishes, disclosing personal information without permission, etc.)
In some regions, the expressions that may be used in group introductions or certain features may be additionally restricted under local laws. Any such restrictions are communicated in the app screens for that region.
3. Photos and mutual consent
haps records are made together with the people you are with. Do not film group members who do not wish to be filmed, and take care when posting content in which third parties outside the group are identifiable. You can delete what you uploaded yourself, and if there is a problem with someone else's content, let us know through a report. If a photo of you has been posted against your wishes, you can report it under the "rights infringement" reason.
4. Reporting and blocking
- You can report any content, profile, group, knock, chat, or note. Choose a report reason from the following: harassment or sexual harassment; impersonation; abusive language or hate speech; spam or external links; rights infringement; group not as described; prostitution or harmful solicitation; non-consensual recording or distribution; appears to be a minor or false age; other.
- If you report a person or a note, that person is also blocked; if you report a group, knock, or chat, the members of the other group are also blocked. Reports on posts or records are the channel for handling rights infringement and do not trigger a block.
- Once blocked, your groups are no longer visible to each other and knocks and notes cannot be exchanged. Records you have already made together do not disappear.
- Blocks cannot be undone, and the contents of the report and the identity of the reporter are not disclosed to the other party.
- Reports involving child safety, prostitution, or non-consensual recordings are reviewed with the highest priority.
5. Actions for violations
The following stages apply depending on the severity of the violation and whether it is repeated.
- Warning: you are notified of the violation. If warnings accumulate within a certain period, the next stage may be applied.
- Visibility restriction: your group's exposure in discovery and the sending of knocks and notes are restricted.
- Suspension (for a period or permanently): uploading records, creating groups, and interaction features are restricted.
Serious violations may result in immediate suspension without going through the stages. Even while sanctioned, you can still view your own records, and records made together do not disappear.
